Turtle Conservation Fund (TCF)
Description
Grants for research and conservation of highly threatened tortoises and freshwater turtles (IUCN Red List Critically Endangered or Endangered). Smaller requests ($3,000 or less) encouraged for pilot surveys. No overhead costs funded.
Eligibility
Individuals, conservationists, researchers, and organizations. Encourages applications from emerging conservationists, particularly women and ethnic minorities from developing nations. Marine turtle projects ineligible.
