Description
Turtle Conservation Fund provides grants for field conservation, population monitoring, habitat protection, scientific research, and species recovery programs for threatened tortoises and freshwater turtles. Two annual cycles (June 1 and December 1). Grants typically USD 1,000–5,000; seed grants up to USD 1,000 for emerging conservationists from developing nations.
Eligibility
Researchers, conservationists, and organizations working on threatened tortoises and freshwater turtles globally. No marine turtles. No overhead/administrative costs. Priority for Critically Endangered or Endangered IUCN species.
