Description
The Adaptation Fund finances climate change adaptation projects and programmes in developing countries that are parties to the Kyoto Protocol and Paris Agreement. Rolling submissions accepted at any time through accredited implementing entities. Supports concrete adaptation activities including food security, water management, disaster risk reduction, and ecosystem-based adaptation.
Eligibility
Developing country parties to the Kyoto Protocol/Paris Agreement. Proposals submitted through accredited National, Regional, or Multilateral Implementing Entities. Central Asian countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan) are eligible.
