Description
Rainforest Trust provides conservation grants to NGOs and Indigenous communities for creation or expansion of protected areas in tropical and subtropical regions. Awards $250,000+ have fixed deadlines (March 1, July 1, October 1). Smaller awards accepted on rolling basis.
Eligibility
Legally registered NGOs authorized to operate in the project country. Focus on unprotected areas with critically endangered/endangered species in tropical/subtropical regions.
