Description
NEF Research Grant Programme supports early-career researchers and doctoral students from developing countries in the Asia-Pacific region. Grants up to 1,000,000 JPY (approx. USD 6,500) for up to 2-year projects. Focus on scientific research enhancing understanding of nature, biodiversity, and ecosystems. Fieldwork for data collection required. Applications in English.
Eligibility
Nationals of developing countries in the Asia-Pacific region conducting research within their home countries. Individual applicants only (not organizations). Must be doctoral students or researchers. Must not have other ongoing NEF-funded projects.
