Satoyama Development Mechanism (IGES/UNU-IAS)
Description
Satoyama Development Mechanism provides seed funding (up to USD 20,000) for IPSI member organizations to implement activities aligned with the Satoyama Initiative. Eligible activities: on-site field actions (community-based conservation, sustainable livelihoods), partnership building, research, capacity building. Supports Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework and SDGs.
Eligibility
Organizations that are approved members of the International Partnership for the Satoyama Initiative (IPSI) at time of proposal submission. Focus on Socio-Ecological Production Landscapes and Seascapes (SEPLS).
